wow, thanks. you know, I really struggled with whether or not to post this. I thought it looked rushed. In my attempt at minimalist sumi-e I felt like I let go a little too much. I'm really glad you like it.

I'm envious. Definitely top three worthy (Now if only the judges followed their own rules. Maybe we should pick our own alternate winners?-I'm thinking aloud again-).
Back on topic, MUCH better than my attempt at sumi-e style. Definitely a fave.

Thank you so much. You're very kind I'm looking at it this way (because if I don't I'll get really annoyed): I played by the rules, I tried something new, and I worked hard to develop a new-to-me style. In a sense, I win.

aye, that is true. I had the chance to have LOTS of fun with a program (let alone style) that's still brand new to me. I'm proud of it (and thank for saying it's nice ^^) simply 'cause it is something I put more effort into than I normally do. (I look at it this way-I never was one for rules ^^)

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
