you know, I really struggled with whether or not to post this. I thought it looked rushed. In my attempt at minimalist sumi-e I felt like I let go a little too much. I'm really glad you like it.

I'm envious. :) Definitely top three worthy (Now if only the judges followed their own rules. Maybe we should pick our own alternate winners?-I'm thinking aloud again-).

Back on topic, MUCH better than my attempt at sumi-e style. :) Definitely a fave.

I'm looking at it this way (because if I don't I'll get really annoyed): I played by the rules, I tried something new, and I worked hard to develop a new-to-me style.

aye, that is true. I had the chance to have LOTS of fun with a program (let alone style) that's still brand new to me. I'm proud of it (and thank for saying it's nice ^^) simply 'cause it is something I put more effort into than I normally do. (I look at it this way-I never was one for rules ;P ^^)
