Artist's Comments

In the beginning nature wrought beauty upon the land like art across a blank canvas...

I know it's simple, but that's the point.

The kanji+hiragana says "Hajimewa" which roughly translates in to "In the Beginning."

I hope you enjoy it.
Last minute entry!

Domo arigato gozaimashita!

I think I like this one best for the simple message! It's great! The detail work on the brush handle is really inspiring. And you've got a wonderful thing coming along with the sumi strokes now. Nice work!

As always thank you so much for your kind words, they are in fact inspiration.
If I take only a few things away from this contest, our interactions top the list!
I'm going to keep up with it. I hope you keep watching!

All artists are trying to get attention but there is a difference between art and trying to get attention.

And I'll certainly keep watching!

Hee hee, not at all. I wasn't in it for the prize. It'd have been nice to win, but the recognition and learning experience were enough for me. The resulting debate was just fun.
I've just been REALLY busy lately.
Thanks for the show of concern though. New stuff coming soon!!!
